First Knight Miniatures Price List 2024
Training- Horse in full training for show or sale. This price includes daily grooming supplies and supplements. $500.00 per month(Miniatures), $550.00 per month(Shetland & Show Ponies).
Downtime- Horse on daily turn out or light work. $350.00 per month(Miniatures), $450.00 per month(Shetland & Show Ponies). (This option is NOT available January thru September.)
Show Fees:
Horse Show Fees- Motels, food, tack stalls and any other costs incurred at a show will be divided up among the number of owners with horses attending that show. A $50.00/day per horse, per day shown, will also be billed to cover grooming supplies, clipper blades, etc. Owners will be billed for any reimbursable charges such as stalls, entries and shavings. These may be billed prior to a show if necessary.
Clipping- For horses in training $110.00.
Photo Shoot Fee- a $50.00 fee will be charged to cover grooming supplies and set up. If a horse needs to be clipped, the above clipping charges will apply.
AMHR National Show Fee- This fee covers National Show expenses such as mileage, hotel, food, tack and grooming stalls, etc. This fee will be charged up front before the show. This fee does not include each horses stall, shavings, clipping, entries and AMHR fees. These charges will be billed separately, when they are due. $1,500.00 first horse, $1,000.00 each additional horse.
AMHA World Show Fee- This fee covers World Show expenses such as mileage, hotel, food, tack and grooming stalls, etc. This fee will be charged up front, before the show. This fee does not include each horses stall, shavings, clipping, entries and AMHA Drug Fee. These charges will be billed separately, before the show. $1,500.00 first horse, $1,000.00 each additional horse.
Misc. Fees:
Hoof Trimming- $40.00, Worming-$5.00, Hauling-$.50 cents per mile (Price subject to change without notice.)
Vaccinations and Shots- Price will be dictated by administering vet or current price availability.
Sellers/Agent Fee- A 10% commission, based on actual sales price, will be due from the owner of any horse sold while in training or within 60 days of being in training at First Knight Miniatures.
Late Fees- Bills are due upon receipt. If late payment is received (after the first of the month), there will be a $50 charge or a charge of 15% of the total outstanding invoice, whichever is higher. All customer accounts must be current for a client's horse to attend a show.
Additional Costs- Expenses such as Coggins, shots, vaccinations & health certs, etc. will be billed as needed by First Knight Miniatures or the attending veterinarian.
Horses Leaving the Farm- Arrangements must be made with First Knight Miniatures no less than 7 days prior to picking a horse up. International arrangements must be made no less than 30 days prior to picking a horse up. All monies due must be paid in full before a horse can leave First Knight’s custody. A trainer must be present when any horse(s) is picked up.
Prices effective January 1st, 2024. Prices are subject to change without notice. First Knight Miniatures reserves the right to choose which horse(s) to present in the Grand, Supreme, and Stake classes.
